Job Summary:
1) Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and other hardware peripherals. Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications, operating systems, and updates.
2) Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including hardware failures, software glitches, and connectivity issues. Escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary.
3) Assist users with setting up new computers, laptops, and peripherals. Provide guidance on software usage, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
4) Collaborate with IT Asset team to select appropriate hardware and peripherals for users. Set up and configure new devices for deployment.
5) Maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions provided, and troubleshooting steps taken. Contribute to knowledge base articles and user guides.
6) Assist in enforcing IT security policies and practices. Ensure that end-user devices are up to date with security patches and updates.
Educational Background:
College degree of any IT or related Engineering course
Behavioral/Technical Competencies:
1) Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), hardware components, and software applications.
2) Familiarity with desktop virtualization, remote desktop tools, and ticketing systems.
3) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
4) Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-focused attitude.
5) Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Set Up : Full onsite at BGC and/or QC
Job Type: Full-time ; 6months initial contract subject for extension
Salary: Php16,000.00 to Php20,000 per month
