Duties And Responsibilities
Southwestern University Medical Center is looking for a driven IT Staff who can provide overall support on IT operations and implementation of initiatives:
General
- Provides assistance to the IT Manager in the preparation and implementation of both departmental and company-wide IT operations and related budget for business applications and associated services.
- Provides assistance to the IT Manager in timely recommendation of appropriate solutions, whether application enhancements or administrative procedures, in order to address business operational issues.
System Administration
- Install and update applications in servers, establish and maintain application user accounts, create and modify application forms and reports.
- Test new versions of applications prior to deployment and ensure features meet users requirements are that there are not issues as per approved user requirement.
- Perform data archiving and retrieval for applicable systems.
Application Support
- Provides 1st level support for all applications (including related devices) being used by the organization.
- Documents, escalates and follows up until resolution to the service provider all system issues that cannot be resolved within the IT department.
- Develop and executes scripts in order to perform data correction or extraction wherein the required task are not available within the system.
