About the RoleWe are searching for a skilled and motivated IT Generalist to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our company's technology infrastructure. As an IT Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including providing technical support to users, maintaining network and server health, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will also be involved in installing and configuring new hardware and software, ensuring data security, and staying up-to-date on the latest IT trends.
Provide technical support to staff members, resolving computer hardware, software, and network problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.- Maintain network and server health, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including data backups, system updates, and security checks.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of IT activities.
Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.- Assist with the planning and implementation of new IT projects.
Work collaboratively with other IT staff members and departments.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technical support role.
Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent customer service skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
