Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintenance, troubleshooting of hardware, software and network - related problems and checking of equipment upgrades.
- Technical support with regards to Windows desktop operating system and servers
Network Client connectivity Windows platform- Software installation or re-installation (licensed software only and Client's standard software)
Configuration of software drivers of peripheral items
- Virus Scanning and removal
Basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of hardware defects- Restoration of files from Backup System when necessary
Replacement of defective parts o Coordinate warranty claims, repair, or replacement for those units still under warranty with other suppliers o Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities with the appropriate vendor maintenance provide and end-user
- Submit documentation report on the current location and status of the unit or hardware that is being repaired
IMAC (Install, Move, Add & Change) is included in the scope of work- Conducting and consolidating daily activity checklist.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent- At least 1 year of related experience as IT Support
The Desktop Support Engineer is expected to work with overtime
- Amenable to work in Ayala Makati, Mon-Fri 7AM to 4PM
Open to work on a Project Based Employment 1yr RENEWABLE CONTRACT
