IT System Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance- Ensure the effective operation of computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
This role involves responding to user inquiries, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to maintain optimal system performance and user productivity.
- Provide first-level support to users via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Maintain and update documentation of system configurations and procedures.
Assist users with software applications and system navigation.- Support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Ensure the security of systems by implementing and maintaining security measures.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
Assist with the procurement and deployment of new hardware and software.- Provide input and recommendations for system improvements.
Graduate of bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. (or equivalent experience).- Proven experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
Experience with networking principles and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
