Job Summary- The IT Specialist is the first point of contact in troubleshooting and solving end user problems. IT Specialist responds to a high volume of telephone calls on a daily and applies knowledge of hardware and software packages that operate the various computerized systems such as e-mail and the internet. IT Specialist received and reports computer system alerts, user calls, and though diagnositic procedures, resolves service requests.
- Duties and responsibilities:
Provides first-technical support to end users at all locations.
- Receive telephone calls, e-mails or other guidance in technology utilization.
Responds to questions and apply knowledge of computer software, hardware and procedures.- Communicate step by step instructions to users.
Perform software upgrades remotely.
- Dispatch requests and expedite emergency request to established procedures.
Reset and reboot desktops as necessary.- Identify and refer problems that require higher level technical resources to Transformation Technology Division for resolutions.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Equivalent- Has at least 1 year working experience in providing IT Technical Support
Preferably has working experience in retail and distribution systems for cargo, courier, and/or remittance industry, financial services, and supply chain management.
- Experience in large multinational organizational and ISO process is a plus.
Hybrid (Onsite + Work From Home)
- Ability to Commute to Paraaque
Shifting Schedule- Willing to render overtime work on holidays and weekends
