We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security - Vulnerability Analyst to join our dynamic security team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within our IT infrastructure. Your expertise will play a crucial part in safeguarding our organization against potential threats.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments across all systems, networks, and applications.
- Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities based on potential impact and exploitability.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of security controls and make recommendations for improvements.
Stay current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies and procedures.
Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.- Participate in incident response activities when vulnerabilities are exploited.
Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in vulnerability assessment and management.
Strong understanding of network and application security.- Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).
Knowledge of common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
