IT Security Specialist (SOC)

Position Summary:

The jobholder is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of assigned IT infrastructure and systems in accordance with bank standards and MTPP compliance laws and regulations. This includes managing assigned IT operations and functions to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.

• Qualifications:

• Acts as the lead for application system enhancements or mid to complex infrastructure projects and changes.
  

• Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
  

• Directs operations in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  

• Assigns workload to identify and balance the duties and responsibilities performed by each project team member.
  

• Ensures that project adheres to quality assurance standards and guidelines.
  

• Reviews performance of existing application system in production and recommends enhancements/modifications for improved efficiency.
  

• Ensures adherence to the bank's methodology and standards on systems development, information security and audit. Recommends solutions to address audit findings.
  

• Keeps abreast of updates on BSP policies as stipulated in the Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB) and Bank policies as specified in the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MTPP) through circulars, required seminars/programs and adheres to said policies.
  

• Handles Technical Analyst/Specialist function as required.
  

• Mentors Technical Analysts/Specialists as needed.
  
• Must have:

SOC Operations/Management

• EDR/XDR Cloud

Security Infrastructure for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS

• At least ten (10) years of responsible experience in the areas of application systems design, analysis, development and maintenance work involving mainframe /midrange /microcomputer systems Relevant exposure to banking operations.
