Job Purpose:The IT Project Manager is responsible for providing the consistency needed to see software projects through from start to finish. With a mixture of technical knowledge and leadership, this role oversees both the product being produced and the people performing the work. The IT Project Manager maintains information technology strategies by managing staff, researching, and implementing technological strategic solutions.
Manage projects in accordance with determined standards and methodology. Lead assigned projects to completion.
Organize releases, prepare candidate release lists, and publish released tasks to customers.
Perform overall capacity planning.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Troubleshoot and escalate problems that arise during projects.
Develop individual project plans, including budgetary information and resource needs.
Communicate with all departments about resource allocation.
Communicate project objectives to all team members involved.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Ensure that project team members are kept informed of progress and stay aligned with project goals.
Monitor and report staff performance during the project period.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
At least two years of college/university education, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in project management.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Good understanding of the software life cycle.
Knowledge of project management tools and techniques (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack).
Ability to engage with cross-functional and functional teams.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills, including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
Excellent communication, organization, time-management, and leadership skills.
Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus.
Willingness to work onsite in Pasay City.
