Job Title: Project Manager (Software/IT)
Job Description:
This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects using Agile methodologies (including Kanban), and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles. The candidate will also be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and nurturing client relationships. The role requires a balance of technical expertise, project management skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
Lead and manage software development projects using appropriate methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, ITSM, etc.).
Oversee project lifecycle from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings.
Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.
- Client Account Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
Provide regular project updates to clients, manage their concerns, and ensure their satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for account growth and additional service offerings.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Team Collaboration and Leadership:
Work closely with software development teams, providing guidance and support.
Encourage a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
Mentor team members in Agile and ITSM best practices.
- Continuous Improvement:
Implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Stay updated with the latest trends in Agile methodologies, ITSM, and client account management.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in Agile (Scrum and Kanban) methodologies.
Strong understanding of ITSM principles.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within a software development environment.
Experience in managing client accounts.
Familiarity with software development processes and lifecycle.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master), ITSM (e.g., ITIL), or Project Management (e.g., PMP) would be advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month
Schedule: - 8 hour shift
