Job Summary:
The IT Programmer oversees data analysis, computer programming, and software development for business applications. Responsibilities include deploying systems, training users, maintaining existing software, and ensuring optimal performance. The role requires resolving issues, staying updated on technology, and performing additional assigned tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Performs data analysis, computer programming, and software development for business applications and related software requiring knowledge of established programming procedures, language, tools and data processing requirements.
- Deploy and implement the business application system to all areas which requires the system and within the scope of responsibility.
- Train users on systems operation and provides adequate documentation for users reference.
- Perform maintenance of existing systems and research/development for future enhancements.
- Analyzes performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of IT Manager.
- Confers with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
- Provides oncall or onsite support and problem resolution for the deployed computer applications.
- Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant stateoftheart technology, equipment, and/or systems.
- Performs miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or any related courses.
- At least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified with proven project accomplishment portfolio.
- With knowledge and ability in Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Software Maintenance, Software Algorithm Design, Software Performance Tuning, Software Architecture.
- Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications.
- Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware and/or software solutions.
- Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications.
- Ability to communicate with and interpret the operational requirements of end users.
