IT Officer (Hybrid Set-up)

As the Education Technology Officer, you will lead the development and implementation of technology solutions that positively impact teaching, learning, and administrative processes within the organization. You will collaborate closely with different leaders and technical teams to ensure the effective integration of web and app development, as well as subscription to or creation and optimization of a Learning Management System.

• Essential Functions

• Web Development:
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of responsive and user-friendly website.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective web solutions.

• Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry best practices.

• LMS Development
• Manage the end-to-end development and customization of the Learning Management System.

Collaborate with various departments to implement engaging and effective e-learning solutions.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of the LMS, ensuring a seamless learning experience.

• Data Security and Privacy
• Implement and oversee measures to ensure the security and privacy of educational data within technology solutions.

Stay informed about data protection regulations and ensure compliance in all technology initiatives.

• Continuous Improvement
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology solutions, gathering feedback from educators and learners.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in educational technology.

• Education and Experience

Candidate must be a graduate of any of the following courses : B.S. Computer Science, B.S. Information Technology, B.S. Software Engineering or other related field.

• At least 3 years experience in web development, app development, and LMS development in an educational context.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.

• Familiarity with educational technology standards, e-learning tools, and pedagogical principles.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between educators and technology teams.

• Project management experience and a commitment to staying current with emerging trends in education technology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php38,000.00 per month
