As member of the Global Infrastructure Team, the IT Monitoring Support located in Manila takes over the monitoring for Systems, Network, Database and Application services.
Your Tasks
- Provide technology monitoring support including cyber security monitoring, analysis, reporting, and alerting.
- Provides 1st to 2nd level support based on SOPs ranging from alert triaging and resolution to internal escalations and ticket logging with 3rd party vendors
- Provides 1st to 2nd level Laptop/Desktop, Mobile and account support
- Ensures team documentations for SOPs and technical documentations are updated.
- Continually improve personal knowledge and skills relevant to current duties, through on the job experience, self-directed research, or formal training.
- Maintains up-to-date awareness of industry developments and best practices in this area of specialization.
- Take part in rotating shift schedules 8x5 work week or 11x4 work week as well participates in the on-call duty
Your Profile
- 3+ years providing technical operations center support as Service Desk specialist
- Monitoring Support experience is a plus
- A working knowledge of Monitoring systems (such as PRTG, SolarWinds) and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) specifically is a plus
- Solid understanding of LAN WAN and WLAN, Server, Database and Applications performance and related dependencies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and good customer relations skills
- Ability to work and communicate effectively within a global IT environment with people having diverse skill levels and varying backgrounds
