Job descriptionIntellismart Technology, Inc. are seeking for motivated and dedicated interns to join our Accounting team. As an Accounting Intern, you will provide essential support to our entire logistics operations as assigned and needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in processing purchase requests and orders from different departments.
- Assisting in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assigning and encoding unique serial numbers to purchase orders for tracking purposes.
- Logging and tracking requests for payments from internal stakeholders.
- Assisting in the creation and processing of vouchers for various financial transactions.
- Maintaining a comprehensive record book of financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and other supporting materials.
- Matching and attaching receiving reports to bank cheques to ensure proper documentation and payment authorization.
- Assisting with the preparation and issuance of billing invoices to customers.
- Assisting with the calculation and recording of Value Added Tax (VAT) input for purchases.
- Sorting and organizing sales records, including invoices and receipts.
- Assisting with the endorsement of sales transactions and verifying supporting documentation.
- Managing and organizing cash transaction slips for proper record-keeping.
