We are looking for IT Infrastructure Engineer who will oversee and enhance the performance, reliability, and progression of the company's IT infrastructure across multiple sites, including data centers, networks, telecommunications, workstations and security. They ensure the seamless operation and continuous improvement of the IT landscape.
Monitor and maintain the health of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems
- Define IT standards for Company sites and ensure the deployment of standard infrastructure by the sites
Define installation and configuration procedures- Identify and address performance issues, bottlenecks, and vulnerabilities to ensure optimal system functionality
Implement and manage virtualization technologies for efficient resource utilization
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT infrastructure deployment projects
Drive necessary changes in infrastructure and processes- Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems and technologies
Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data and ensure business
- Regularly test backup systems to validate their effectiveness and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve backup-related issues promptly to minimize data loss risks- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and support staff
- Work closely with the security team to implement and enforce security best practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- With at least 5 years experience working as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role
With experience in system administration, Virtualization and Cloud Technologies (AWS, Google), Network Infrastructure, Scripting and Automation, Security Support- With excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
