Your Voyage Ahead:
Invoicing:
- Raise subscription and non-subscription invoices across all OTG business entities.
- Ensure timely, efficient, and accurate issuance of invoices to customers.
Query Management:
- Manage escalation and resolution of invoicing queries that could result in slow or non-payment.
- Identify queries that may lead to delayed payments.
- Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve invoicing problems, identifying root causes, and developing solutions.
Process Development:
- Develop, refine, and implement group invoicing processes and policies.
- Organize tasks and resources to streamline invoicing procedures.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Manage, monitor, and report any invoicing backlogs, ensuring they remain at acceptable levels.
- Reconcile revenue records and conduct checks against budget and forecast.
- Meet monthly resolution targets and maintain clean sub-ledger accounts.
- Prepare revenue analysis with department heads for monitoring and reporting.
- Perform additional ad-hoc reporting as required.
Communication and Meetings:
- Manage Outlook inbox for invoicing-related communications.
- Conduct meetings with internal and external sources regarding the invoice delivery process.
General Administration:
- Perform general administrative tasks and other duties as required by the invoicing department.
- Carry out additional duties as may arise for the successful operation of the company.
Recommended to bring on board:
Qualifications / attributes
- Min. 4 years working experience within invoicing / finance.
- Experience of multiple AR ledgers.
- Experience with multiple currency Sales invoices and VAT/Tax regulations.
- Experience with multiple currency invoicing and receipts.
- An understanding of subscription-based invoicing.
- Good skills in Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP systems - Netsuite and/or similar.
- Problem solving mind set with drive and ability to work independently.
- Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence and the ability to influence others.
