Key Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling (20% - 40%)
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial data to inform decisions on investments, project financing, and corporate finance activities.
- Ensure models are accurate and align with industry best practices.
Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) Preparation (10% - 20%)
- Create detailed CIMs for potential investors and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to compile relevant data for CIMs.
- Ensure documentation meets legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
Deal Structuring (5% - 10%)
- Assist in structuring deals, negotiating terms with counterparties, and analyzing different deal structures.
- Provide insights to support decision-making during negotiations.
Presentation & Communication (5% - 10%)
- Deliver high-quality presentations to senior management, investors, and stakeholders.
- Simplify complex financial data for clear, effective communication in reports and pitches.
Project Financing (5% - 10%)
- Support securing project financing by analyzing funding needs and preparing projections.
- Work closely with financial institutions to secure favorable financing terms.
Corporate Finance (5% - 10%)
- Contribute to corporate finance initiatives like mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and financial restructuring.
- Conduct financial due diligence on potential acquisitions.
Investment Management (5% - 10%)
- Support investment portfolio management by monitoring performance and conducting reviews.
- Provide insights on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory impacts.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree or CFA preferred).
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in financial modeling, investment analysis, or a similar role.
Skills:
- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
