Position Overview : Managing company's inventory level to ensure warehouse is keeping the optimal stock inventory level. The primary responsibilities of an Inventory Control Analyst usually include:
Controlling inbound and outbound day to day operations- Check the correctness of inbound record versus actual received from the containers.
Tracking of all the outbound activities in warehouse such as stock transfers to other depots
Identifying slow moving and non-moving skus & cascade to BU's for move-out plans implementation- Prepare the Sotex report and align with the Business Units for immediate disposition.
Reports and Planning:
- Send daily inventory reports to sales and marketing with corresponding RSV.
Prepare report of SOTEX and near-expiring skusInventory Auditing
: Initiate weekly to monthly physical and cycle inventory count.
- Recon variance actual vs DRIM after cycle count.
Ensure that no expired item will be reported in the depot.- Close coordination with systems inventory analyst for stock reconciliation
Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies related to inventory management, such as FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods.
Overall, an Inventory Control Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient and cost-effective inventory management practices within an organization to ensure smooth product flow and high customer service level. Key Performance Indicator:
- Actual Inventory is aligned with Jentec DRIM Inventory reports.
Ensure that all SOTEX reports aligned with Business Units have been flushed out.- Weekly and Monthly count variance not more than 2% vs actual.
