Position Overview

The Inventory Audit Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of inventory management processes. This position is responsible for overseeing the inventory audit team, developing audit strategies, and implementing best practices to maintain high standards of inventory control and compliance. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in inventory management, audit processes, and leadership skills to guide a team in achieving organizational goals.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management and Leadership
Supervise and mentor a team of inventory auditors, including setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and providing ongoing training and support.
  • Develop and implement effective team workflows and procedures to optimize audit efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure that team members adhere to company policies, audit standards, and ethical practices.
  • 2. Audit Planning and Execution
Develop annual and periodic audit plans based on risk assessments and inventory control objectives.
  • Lead comprehensive inventory audits, including physical counts, data reconciliation, and variance analysis.
Design and execute audit procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of inventory control systems and processes.
  • 3. Process Improvement
Identify areas for improvement in inventory management processes and recommend solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory control best practices and process improvements.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and report on progress to senior management.
  • 4. Reporting and Documentation
Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans for addressing discrepancies and improving inventory management.
  • Present audit results and trends to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of audit procedures, findings, and corrective actions.
  • 5. Compliance and Standards
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and changes in regulations affecting inventory control and audits.
  • 6. Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and metrics to support decision-making processes and monitor performance.
  • QualificationsEducation and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (such as CPA, CIA, or CISA) is a plus.
  • 5-8 years of experience in inventory management, audit, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Skills and Competencies
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage performance, and drive results.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess complex inventory data and identify issues.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in audit processes and data analysis.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement effective changes.
Project Management: Experience in managing projects, meeting deadlines, and balancing multiple priorities.
  • Work Environment
Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with inventory audits, including lifting and carrying materials, and standing for extended periods.
Work Schedule: Standard office hours with occasional requirements for overtime or off-hours work during audit periods.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php28,000.00 per month

Schedule:
  • 10 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

* 13th month salary
