Job Description

Position Summary:
The Front Office Intern/Trainee will work closely with our front desk team to gain valuable experience in hotel operations and guest services. This position offers hands-on training and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic hospitality environment.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including processing reservations and payments accurately.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Learn and operate hotel management software and other front office systems efficiently.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and guest experiences.
Handle guest feedback and complaints with tact and diplomacy, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a hospitality management program or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and customer-oriented approach.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations and guest information.
Basic knowledge of hotel operations and front office procedures (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with hotel management software (preferred but not required).
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in a second language (preferred but not required).
