Conduct site visits or attend client meetings to understand the design needs, assess space planning based, interpret and translate client needs into plan.
Create initial design sketches, color themes based on client preferences and requirements based on the space available
Research and dictate the materials to be used on the project
Create mood/sample boards for client presentation
Present with client the design concept. If necessary, revise the design based on client comments to get final approval.
Monitor/collaborate closely with the group to ensure that the specifications of the design and materials used are followed through during production and construction phase.
Assess the quality output to ensure that client expectations are met.
Manage projects at times if necessary.
Use software packages such as AutoCAD, MS Office, Sketch-up and other related
Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
Provide data and guides to help the sales team
Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
Review pending orders and specific customers requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
