Role description:
- Responsible for managing technical aspects of smaller and/or less complex tasks or components of larger tasks, meeting financial, quality, timeframe and health and safety objectives
- Typically assigned to provide a controlling technical role for single discipline on smaller and/or less complex tasks or elements of larger tasks
- Coordinate and manage small teams of single (own) discipline designers and technicians
- Work to ensure maximum internal stakeholder satisfaction, championing care and proactively working with internal stakeholders
- Can execute Interior Design tasks independently from Lead Office Project Leads, if and only required by scope, such as Mood board, Material/Finishes Boards and specifications, FF&E item specifications, preliminary test fit layouts and feasibility studies.
- Can initiate concept ideas and later produce technically feasible general arrangement layouts and detailed drawings as per design requirements, using CAD or BIM.
- Can produce high quality 3D rendered images and walkthrough animation from any 3D visualization software
Role accountabilities:
- Perform role in accordance with Arcadis behavioral framework
- Promote Arcadis Health and Safety Principles during the planning and delivery of work
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the integrity of project interfaces
- Review own work to ensure that it meets specified standards before checking by others
- Prepare documentation and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with Arcadis requirements and relevant national standards and codes of practice
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge (for example, national regulations, regulatory guidance, national standards, codes of practice and Arcadis procedures) to ensure ongoing personal effectiveness
- Plan assigned project work and allocate work to ensure timely delivery and effective utilization of resources
- Work collaboratively with other sectors and disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design or solution
- Monitor the performance of team members, identifying and ensuring any issues are resolved
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent
- Achieved Licensed status or equivalent
- At least 6 years working experience
- Experience in Design consultancy focusing on Retail sector (or in an office fit-out environment), from local and global locations. is an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency with relevant desktop applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, InDesign/Photoshop/IllustratorAfter Effects/Premiere Pro, Sketchup, Enscape or other 3D visualization softwares
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Developing task management capabilities
