Estimation in Interior Design is
a method for organizing and managing the building phase of any project in terms of quality, timing, and budget.- Essential Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide leadership and direction to the further development and refinement remodeling process.
- Provide all necessary details of each individual project design to the production team through:
Plans/Blueprints Elevation Drawings
- Manage and develop relationships with existing and potential vendors (Plumbing supply, Cabinet vendor(s), etc)
On-site visits at the start of each project- Take accurate field measurements
Define the Project and Scope of Work
- Create sheet and merge the information with Service Providers
Fulfilling the customers wants- Identifying the spend/increases it will take
Other responsibilities as needed
- Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering etc.
- 3 to 5+ years experience in interior design
Knowledge of Structural & Mechanical Trades- Knowledge of Building Codes
Experience using CAD (Computer -aided Design)
