TWO Commercial Insurance Processor
The Commercial Insurance Processor for Property and Casualty Insurance is responsible for processing and managing insurance policy applications, endorsements, renewals, certificates and cancellations. The role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial property and casualty insurance processing and a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Processing:
- Process new insurance policy applications, ensuring all required information and documentation are complete and accurate.
- Handle policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in a timely manner.
- Review policy applications for compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Documentation Management:
- Maintain accurate and organized client files and policy records.
- Ensure all policy documentation is properly scanned, filed, and stored.
- Generate and distribute policy documents to clients and relevant parties.
- Data Entry and Verification:
- Enter policy information into the insurance management system accurately and efficiently.
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
- Update and maintain client and policy information in the database.
Customer Support:
- Assist clients with inquiries related to policy status, coverage details, and billing.
- Provide support to the customer service team by supplying necessary policy information.
- Communicate with clients, agents, underwriters, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all processing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on policy processing activities and performance metrics.
- Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in commercial property and casualty insurance processing is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with insurance software such as Applied EPIC, AMS 360, EZ Lynx and CRM systems.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
