Responsible for maintaining licensing compliance by preparing and issuing license renewals, regulator notifications and other general duties related to the licensing department. The Junior Licensing Specialist will exercise independent judgment, attention to detail and strong customer service skills to ensure timely, complete, and accurate maintenance of agent licensure.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage end-to-end agent licensing onboarding process independently to ensure regulatory compliance of all resident and non-resident licensees.
- Monitoring and ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements for agent licensure, including staying abreast of changes to regulatory/licensure requirements for applicable states.
Conduct employee orientations and training on process best practices, including developing learning pathways.- Work with department leadership to assess process and system improvements, including opportunities for automation etc. to improve agent and team user experience throughout the licensing process.
Monitor carrier communications and use independent judgment to triage and respond to inquiries as needed.
- Provide regular status reports to stakeholders to identifying potential concerns, roadblocks, etc.
Liaison with carrier compliance and appointment teams to ensure termination notices are processed timely.- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Bachelor's Degree- At least 1 year of insurance and carrier experience.
Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
