JOB SUMMARYInstrumentation Technician is responsible for supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities including customer demonstrations, material evaluation, on-site installation, and servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems for all products and markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure safety and QA procedures are followed for all work being carried
Ensure QA card has all the relevant fields completed and signed off for all work that he/she carries out- Ensure safety and quality of products and report any problem through the correct chain of command
Report status and progress to Technical Manager/Managing Director
- Compile product drawings, procedures, reports and calculations as required
Safeguard product workflow and make certain that downtime and unanticipated problems are minimized and all personnel within his/her control are working efficiently- Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test associated equipment
Fault-find and resolve problems within his/her areas of competence
- Deal with clients, suppliers and other departments/companies
Ensure all outgoing jobs are completed at a high standard- Work and collaborate with other service engineers to ensure that deliverables are met
Ensure that projects are completed within agreed schedule and budgets
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Instrumentation or a related technical field or equivalent work experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Has strong working knowledge of instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical engineering concepts and terms- Has proven strong technical knowledge and is customer-oriented
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities
