Instructional Designer

Job Description

The
Instructional Designer position is focused on creating engaging learning
activities and compelling course content, continuous enablement and interactive
optimizations of new and already existing training systems for all internal and
external clients. The Learning & Development team accelerates individual
performance through analytics and content development into comprehensive
platforms and provides a structure to ensure cross-functional alignment on key
strategic initiatives.

Expectations
& Tasks

The
Instructional Designer working in the Learning & Development team will act
as a subject matter expert on training projects designed to develop Mortgage
Choice's team members professionally. The ideal candidate will be procient in
instructional design creation tools including Articulate programs, Loom,
Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) - we us
Docebo, will be responsible for the development of content, its design,
application, implementation, and evaluation effectively.

Job
Responsibilities

• Work with SME's to determine
  training objectives


• Gather and review training
  material from SME's


• Shape training content in
  accordance to the needs of each department


• Create storyboards for each
  training course


• Create training content using
  Articulate Rise or Storyline


• Design training materials in
  response to business need for delivery via various mediums, including
  face-to-face, online and Zoom


• Manage design and development
  projects within the assigned timelines


• Participate in project working
  groups and provide capability and learning subject matter expertise and
  support the rollout of new initiatives


• Continually review and update
  existing training resources to reflect changes in


• business processes and systems
  resulting from projects


• Submit training course
  completion and results to management


• Utilize LMS as a platform for
  all training purposes


• Collaborate with team to
  provide ideas to optimize the quality and scope of training


• Keep up-to-date and advise on
  current learning and development trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

Qualication
and requirements:

• Must be able to work an
  Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) or Australian Eastern Daylight
  Time (AEDT) 9:00am- 5:30pm


• Keen attention to detail


• At least three years of
  experience in training programs


• Prociency in Articulate - Articulate Rise is the tool curently being used Another system is Storyline. May consider exposure to similar platforms


• Must have experience in:
