• Job Description:

As an Initial Disclosure Specialist, you will play a critical role in the mortgage origination process. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all initial disclosure documents are accurate, compliant, and delivered to borrowers in a timely manner. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of mortgage regulations and compliance requirements.

• Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review initial disclosure documents for accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Ensure timely delivery of initial disclosures to borrowers in accordance with regulatory timelines.

Communicate with loan officers, processors, and other team members to gather necessary information for disclosure preparation.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Address any discrepancies or issues related to initial disclosures and work towards resolution.

• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the disclosure process.

Maintain accurate records of all disclosure activities and documentation.

• Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mortgage processing, or a related field.

In-depth knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations, including RESPA, TILA, and TRID.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in mortgage software and Microsoft Office Suite.
