The purpose of this role is to build, administer, support, and maintain Unified Communications infrastructure solutions in alignment with QBE and divisional policies. Collaborate with a team of specialists and engineers to ensure seamless integration, delivery, and operation of services. Translate architectural designs into operational plans, provide input to overall management, and work with third parties to deliver infrastructure services effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical issues, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
- Design, implement and operate IT infrastructure technologies and solutions.
- Create system designs to meet defined business needs, working with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs.
- Understand and identify problems, analyse and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain focus on the whole life of service delivery, ensuring IT products and vendors deliver services.
- Demonstrate lateral thinking to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various technology capabilities.
- Visualise ideal user services and explore different design approaches.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer experiences through technical expertise.
Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Some relevant experience.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Experience in regulated industries, ideally finance services, with large distributed environments.
- Experience working within an ITIL service management framework.
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
