Promotion of service of, and building of public trust in, the PRC as focused, fast, friendly, flexible and foremost humanitarian organization- Gathers data / information and writes news, feature stories, quotes, topics of human interests and photo captions wherein the Red Cross may have been or will be expectedly involved.
Gathers annual reports from different PRC Chapters nationwide that will be put in the quarterly newsletter. Photo-editing and layout of Quarterly Newsletter to promote Red Cross services and activities to the general public.
- Development of faster channels of communication with PRC partners, supporters and general public.
- Updates information on PRC website regularly to effectively disseminate information to partners, stakeholders and the general public by providing them relevant and updated information online by delivering pertinent press releases
Performs all other related duties and functions that may be assigned from time to time by the manager
_Must _be a Bachelor's degree holder in one of the following: Communications, Journalism, Development Communication, Public Relations, Marketing and/or other job-related field required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- _Preferably _atleast 2 years experience in working with humanitarian or non-government organization, assigned to Internal and External Corporate Communications Office and one year experience in handling digital media.
