The team is looking for IT support specialist (12 months contracts) to join team in Lipa.
Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve IT incidents/service request, such as system outages, PC hardware and software, network security, client connectivity, and VPN connectivity issues.
Track and manage support tickets from creation to resolution, ensuring timely follow-up and closure.
Log and utilize incident management system to create, update, escalate, and close customer support requests.
Deploy applications and system images using the company's imaging drive(preferably knowledgeable on Windows OS and DOS).
Implement and enforce IT security measures and standard operating procedures.
Active Directory management for the areas of responsibility
Ensure internet and critical servers availability, troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including resolving problems related to IP addresses, DNS, and VPN connections.
Assist with basic network setup and troubleshooting, including wired and wireless connections and smart devices.
Responsible to setup and deploy new or existing office, label and barcode printers.
Responsible for setting and configuration of telecom applications.
Answering employee questions regarding computer systems, changing configuration, setting and permissions to fix computer issues.
Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems..
Set up and configure hardware and software applications and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
Support the deployment of IT infrastructure upgrades or new technology implementations.
About the Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related courses preferably male
2 years experience on PC desktop, hardware, software, printer, and servers support in a manufacturing set up.
Must have good aptitude and the ability to be effective in both oral and written communication, must be able to communicate and write in the English language.
With knowledge on barcode scanner, label printer and legacy PCs
With working knowledge on infrastructure (wired and wireless) networking concepts and troubleshooting
Experience in support and maintenance of Active Directory.
Experience in support and troubleshooting of client VPN connections.
Experience on MS Office Applications
With working knowledge on telecom concepts preferred
Must have an experience resolving IT related security issues and provide detailed report on the resolution.
Must have pleasant personality and professionalism.
