Qualification Standards:
Education: Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
Experience: At least two (2) years of relevant experience in the following: 1) Experience in identifying and
addressing network and application security risks, 2) Experience in designing, developing, or customizing
application systems
Training: At least sixteen (16) hours of CISA, CISM, SANS GIAC, CISSP, PCI-DSS, CCSK, CDPO, or related
information security training
Certification: Preferably with ISO certification or related information security certificates
Competencies: Exemplifying Integrity and Professionalism, Strategic and Systems Thinking, Delivering Excellent
Results, Fostering Teamwork
Job Responsibilities:
- Technical Competencies: Knowledge of the following:
a. Regulatory compliance such as BSP 982, CISA, and DPA
b. On-premise and cloud architectures
c. Web protocols, web services (REST/SOAP), networking concepts, and encrypt
d. Microsoft and Linux security architecture
e. System development framework from user interfaces, backend applications, and
databases
- Assist the Supervising Head in the development, implementation, and maintenance of information
security standards, policies, and procedures
- Assist the Supervising Head in implementing and monitoring compliance of the organization to
information security standards, policies, and procedures
- Assist the Supervising Head to implement and monitor compliance of the organization to change
management control policies and procedures
- Assist the Supervising Head to implement and monitor compliance of the organization to problem
management control policies and procedures
- Assist the Supervising Head to implement and monitor compliance of the organization to access
control policies and procedures
- Assist the Supervising Head to implement and monitor compliance of the organization on software
management policies and procedures
- Assist the Supervising Head in implementing and controlling the use of the technical library and
documentation
- Conducts periodic internal operations and systems reviews to ensure compliance with information
security policies and procedures
- Assist in the conduct and monitoring of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, IP
Assessment, Whitelisting, and VPN Management
- Assist in handling security-related incidents and service request tickets
- Prepares periodic management and performance reports as required
- Adheres to Company, Technology, and Operations and Information Security policies and procedures
- Performs other duties that may be required by the Supervising Head
