Responsibilities:- Perform day-to-day security administration activities including responding to user problems and rectifying faults related to IT security implementations
Review and analyze various reports and log files available, investigate and report on noted irregularities and/or breaches including potential solutions- Facilitate maintenance operations such as anti-virus signature updates and operating system and application software updates and upgrades
Develop and carry out security implementations for multiple platforms and system environments
- Research, testing and implementation of new security technology, software, and infrastructure to address security compliance
Monitor security events; assist technical (NOC) staff in troubleshooting and resolving network security issues- Backup and security maintenance of corporate email server
Perform required Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliance activities and ensure continued compliance to the standard
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other IT-related courses
- At least two (2) years of IT experience with exposure to IT security implementations
Possess a good understanding of network, hardware, operating systems and internet-related technologies- Background in Information Security concepts
Experience in SIEM (security incident and event monitoring) tools like Solarwinds (preferred), LogRhythm, Splunk, etc.
- Experience in vulnerability management using tools like Qualys (preferred), Nessus, Rapid7 Nexpose, OpenVAS, Nmap, etc.
Preferably with working knowledge on Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard- Preferably with experience in ISO 27000 series standards implementation either as member of a team or as lead
Able to work with minimum supervision
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in creating reports and in using MS Office- Must be willing to work flexible schedules (including weekends and holidays)
