Duties and Responsibilities:

• Acts as Officer-In-Charge for the company's ISO/IEC 27001 accreditation, including accreditation with the company's clients, as required or as needed.
• Protects sensitive information from any intrusions and/or unauthorized activities.
• Ensures the safety and privacy of critical data (i.e. customer's account, financial data, intellectual property data, etc.).
• Maintains and monitors compliance with the information security regulations by the NTC, NPC, and DICT.
• Develops Information Security policies, and ensures that related compliance is properly addressed.
• Responsible in installing software such as firewalls to protect computers and monitor networks for any sign of breach or intrusion. Investigate any Information Security incidents, breaches and intrusions, submit reports for the actions taken and recommend action plans (including budgets/costs) to eliminate the reoccurrence of any incidents, breaches and intrusions.
• Coordinates with the Total Quality Management team on Information Security concerns, especially in defining and maintaining policies and documentation for the company's information security programs.
• Reviews, endorses, and aligns information security and risk management strategy with the company's business strategies and objectives.
• Identifies information security vulnerabilities and coordinates with our IT

Department to resolve/block such vulnerabilities, thus, ensuring our network is secure from any further exposures.

• Analyzes IT requirements and provides objective advice on the use of the IT security requirements. Keeps abreast with the IT security standards and threats, including designing and implementing protection for the company's networks.
• Others that may be assigned by your immediate superior from time to time, relevant to your job position as Information Security Officer.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of IT or any relevant course.
• Must be a certified DCT/NTC Information Security Officer, a certification from NPC as a DPO is a big advantage.
• Must have a strong background in ISO/IEC 27001
• At least 3 years of working experience as Information Security Officer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php40,000.00 per month
