And because Proview Global cares, we are offering a hybrid work arrangement! The company will also be providing the PC and equipment needed. Although during your first month (or until the HLM approves of the transition), you will be reporting on-site to complete company and/or client-required trainings. With this, the following requirements will be required prior the on-boarding:
- Minimum of 25mbps internet speed (actual bandwidth via speed test) *higher than 25mbps would be required if there will be other people in the household who would be either working from home or heavily using the internet during your shift
- Dedicated space or room with good ventilation for the PC set-up.
- Table that can fit two 24 monitors and a chair, ideally positioned close to the outlet and internet modem
- Work from home location within NCR
What's the general objective of the role
The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for protecting Proview Global's networks, systems, and data from cyber threats; works with the infrastructure team in designing and implementing robust security measures.
What are the main responsibilities of the role
- Monitoring security tools and systems, analyzing security alerts and incidents to identify suspicious activities and respond to potential threats in real time.
- Collect and analyze data from various threat intelligence sources to anticipate and mitigate risks.
- Lead or support incident response efforts to mitigate the impact of security breaches, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Create and maintain incident reports, provide regular updates on ongoing investigations, and recommend improvements for future prevention.
- Serve as next level escalation point of IT Operations team concerning security alerts and incidents; conduct regular knowledge transfer sessions to peers,
- Ability to lead technical calls and discussions with clients and 3rd party vendors;
- Provide on-call incident response and support as needed.
- Any assignment/project/tasks given by the manager.
What are the ideal qualifications
- College Degree; preferably Information Technology or any related course
- Minimum 2 years of relevant IT security experience; preferably in the same role
- Knowledge in cybersecurity principles, knowledge of encryption, risk management, and incident response.
- Familiarity in information security systems and tools, in example - Manage Engine SIEM, Checkpoint Harmony Endpoint, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender
- Knowledge in IT infrastructure - Networks, Servers, and cloud infrastructure
- Analytical, detail oriented, and ability to focus on deep level of security issues.
- Good literacy and report writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to generate strong and lasting relationships with the company's employees and clients
- Information Security certifications is a plus
