Inbound Team Leader supervises employees working in a warehouse or a production unit, ensures high productivity levels, assigning tasks, and delivering constructive criticism. Responsible for coordinating the warehouses daily shift operation in order to achieve on time shipping and order completeness.
Making sure that all customer orders are fulfilled within the shortest possible timeline and packed to the required standard- Expediting work flow in a way that reduces overtime
Overseeing the daily activities of fork lift operators and shipping clerks.
- Reconciling, reporting on and submitting all payment transactions at the end of the working day
Writing up administrative reports and paperwork- Acting as a communications link between operations manager and warehouse staff
Ensuring that all team members adhere to the Company Dress Code, attendance and timekeeping standards
- Identifying and correcting conditions that may affect employee safety
Assuring proper training is available to those warehouse employees who need it- Attending team leader meetings and making contributions to any discussions
Keeping accurate customer account information and ensuring that files are keep up-to-date
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Assistant Managing Director
Core Competencies:
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Demonstrates proficiency in use of inventory software and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, etc.

- Ensuring all customer returns are received, checked and put away within agreed timelines; carrying out investigations into any accidents or near-miss incidents

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent with diploma
Experience :
- Experience working in an environment where there is exposure to elements such as odor, noise, heat, cold, dust and chemicals
