The Import/Export Clerk will support the Import/Export Supervisor and assist with preparing import and export documents in compliance with customs and government regulations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import and export steps and procedures.
Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly.- Maintains a database that tracks merchandise.
Processes claim on merchandise shortages and overages.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- A college graduate of any course is required.
At least one year of experience in a customs warehouse or similar setting is required and also a 1+ year of work experience in the FMCG Industry is a plus.- Prior experience preparing customs and shipping documents is preferred.
Amenable to work at South Caloocan Area.
