Job Responsibilities:- Overall in-charge in the documentation for all import LCL, FCL and consolidation shipments of Oceanfreight Department
Receives pre-alert and copies of documents from clients, account owners, sales & overseas agents and coordinate accordingly- Prepares Inward Cargo manifest for submission to carriers and/or consolidators
Monitors the status of shipments by requesting and checking for updates from consolidators/carriers through phone calls and emails
- Prepares E2M manifest based on standard practices and procedures for submission to BOC
1st Audits LCL inward manifest before sending it to consolidator- Prepares duly signed shipping documents and releases these upon validation of HBL presented by the consignee or its authorized broker
Request payment for LCL co loaders and warehouse/ carrier destination charges
- Raises irregularity reports immediately after discrepancies are reported
Prepares monthly monitoring report for documentation
Graduate of BS Customs Administration- At least 2 years experience in Import Freight Forwarding
With good communication skills
- Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications
Must be keen to details and highly organized
