JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for the accurate and timely reply to email inquiries, customer requirements and assigned import reports both air & sea.
Works closely with import both air and sea operations to ensure a seamless flow of information to customers.
- Facilitates customer complaints and claims thru phone, email or formal letter.
Facilitates requests of import rates both air and sea with agents as needed by the Account Executives.- Facilitates daily import air & sea shipments coordination and correspondence with customers and overseas offices/agents.
Provide updates on status of shipment until arrival or delivery as needed.
- Facilitates timely reply and action required to the email inquiries and feedback from customers and liaise with sales team for follow up.
Provides monthly and/or weekly and/or daily reports for monitoring of shipments as required by clients.- Monitors and ensures that billings of all import shipments both air & sea are executed in accordance to the terms & conditions stipulated on the rate quotation given to client.
Attends internal and external social or business functions as company's representative when assigned to.
- Attends to client's functions whenever possible to promote the company.
Implements and/or carry out quality improvement activities and functions as Customer Service Officer (such as compliance to documented QUALITY procedures, active committee membership, implementation of assigned quality projects, etc.) as may be formally and officially defined by the immediate superior or by the executive management.- To comply with all corporate policies and procedures which include memo's and company guidelines and advisories
