Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
- Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand the condition, how to take medications, and self-care skills; and answering questions and concerns of the patients regarding their condition within the scope of nursing practice.
Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies. (key: proper coordination with the attending physician/s/ or surgeon, Clinic Manager and ICG personnel)- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and calling for assistance from ICON CARE GROUP personnel.
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; medication administration (TAKE HOME MEDICATIONS/ PHYSICIAN'S ORDER)
- Documents patient care services by charting in patient MONITORING SHEET and NURSES NOTES.
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.- Maintains nursing supplies by checking stocks on their unit; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies (through requisition form); and using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, seminars and participating in professional societies (PNA).
- Maintains cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information, proper endorsing, and participating in team problem-solving methods.
Maintain a report of the patient status during recovery (THROUGH PROPER ASSESSMENT and PROPER ENDORSEMENT and MANAGEMENT)- Greet customers entering the Clinic
Maintain clean and orderly in the designated area
- Compile and maintain reports and records.
