Job Overview: - Hydraulics BIM (Building Information Modelling) manager acts as collaborator between the client's team, design team, contractor team and supply chain. As a BIM Manager, you will oversee the production of project information models which contain 3D visualizations that bring together data, drawings and schedules associated with the design and construction phase of a project.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for the drafting and coordination of hydraulic systems across a range of challenging projects. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet project requirements and collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to deliver coordinated systems designs. This is a contract role and is remote.
Implementing and maintaining BIM standards, processes, and workflows
Overseeing the development and management of 3D models and BIM data.
Completing supply chain assessments.
Coordinating and collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of BIM data.
Training and educating project team members on BIM technology and workflows.
Troubleshooting and resolving BIM-related issues and conflicts.
Developing and maintaining BIM documentation and reports.
Ensuring compliance with BIM project requirements, standards, and regulations.
Keeping up to date with advancements in building technology
Driving the implementation of digital information plans and strategies
Leading meetings to identify project tasks and resolve issues.
Drafting in Revit of Hydraulic Services including drainage and pressure services.
Participating in clash coordination meetings with relevant stakeholders including other building services disciplines
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or similar field.
At least 3 years of experience as BIM Manager or a similar role.
Knowledge and experience with the Australian & New Zealand Building Codes.
Strong experience with relevant software, including Autodesk Revit (Must Have).
Experience with software packages such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revisto is a plus. At least 5 years of experience with Revit or a similar role.
At least 2 years of experience with the design and documentation of hydraulic plumbing systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.
Expert knowledge of BIM technology, software, and workflows
Strong project management and leadership skills
Amenable to working NZ time zone.
