Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for a diverse range of HR functions, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of HR practices, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and facilitating the selection process.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, addressing issues in a timely and confidential manner.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the implementation and management of performance review processes.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance-related maters and development plans.
Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
Training and Development:
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Identify training needs and assist in organizing professional development programs.
Benefits Administration:
- Support employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
- Assist in the management of employee benefits programs and audits.
HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports as required.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and improve processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in HR or a related field.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
