The company aims to be a strategic partner in ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards for its clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resource Director at ELA Chemicals in Davao. The Human Resource Director will be responsible for overseeing HR policies, managing employee relations, implementing performance management processes, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

  • Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies knowledge
  • Experience in managing Employee Relations and Performance Management
  • Familiarity with Labor and Employment Law
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Organizational and leadership abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience working across multiple HR disciplines, such as employee relations, recruitment, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to handle complex HR issues and resolve them effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present HR strategies and policies to senior management and employees.
  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Strong skills in managing employee relations, resolving conflicts, and negotiating labor contracts (if applicable).
  • Analytical Ability: Proficient in using data-driven approaches to assess and improve HR practices, including experience with HR analytics and metrics.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR technology platforms; knowledge of tools for data analysis, recruitment, and employee management.
  • Change Management: Strong background in driving change management initiatives and handling organizational restructuring,or cultural shifts.

Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • In-depth understanding of compensation and benefits structures, performance management systems, and employee development programs.
  • Familiarity with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs and how to integrate these initiatives into organizational culture.
