Job Summary:
The Human Resources Supervisor will assist the HR Manager & General Manager in overseeing daily HR operations
, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist HR Manager & General Manager: Support the Managers in all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding processes.
HR Operations Management
: Oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure smooth functioning of HR processes.Employee Relations
: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs. Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR legal requirements and best practices.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Assist in developing, implementing, and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization.
Performance Management
: Support managers in conducting performance evaluations and provide guidance on performance improvement plans and employee development.Training and Development
: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Prepare reports for management as needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.- HR certification (e.g., CHRA) is a plus.
