Job Description

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Supervisor will assist the HR Manager & General Manager in overseeing daily HR operations, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist HR Manager & General Manager: Support the Managers in all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding processes.
HR Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure smooth functioning of HR processes.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs. Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR legal requirements and best practices.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Assist in developing, implementing, and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization.
Performance Management: Support managers in conducting performance evaluations and provide guidance on performance improvement plans and employee development.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR certification (e.g., CHRA) is a plus.
  • Applicants must be able to ensure they can report to work ASAP if selected for this position.
