  • Position: HR Specialist
Location: Legazpi City, Albay
  • Salary: Php 25,000 to Php 30,000 per month
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9 :00 AM to 6:00 PM

  • Objectives of this role
  • Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations
Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements
  • Pilot administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate human resource policies, procedures, and structures to ensure compliance with company goals and legal requirements.
Manage health and life insurance programs to provide comprehensive and competitive benefits to employees.
  • Track department budgets and ensure that they are in line with company goals and objectives.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Develop and administer a compensation and benefits systems that fit the company's HR responsibilities
Create employee engagement plans, get necessary budget approval and initiate activities, and promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes
Process government statutory benefits in a timely manner
  • Process appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development
Collaborate with outside vendors, upper management and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities
  • Generate official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records, and ensure an updated master list

  • Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resource Specialist role.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource or similar/ Psychology/ /Administration/Management, Human Resource Management, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
Aptitude for problem-solving, conflict resolution and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, and business management and presentation tools.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated, being a consistent performer is a major advantage
Can work under pressure and has a good sense of urgency
