Your future duties and responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries and issues.
- Assist employees with HR processes, policies, and procedures.
- Provide support for HR systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Resolve issues utilizing excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, technical thinking/reasoning skills.
- Receive and respond to user inquiries and requests via phone, chat, portal and email.
- Ensure fast and accurate turnaround of work.
- Solve problems using agreed upon procedures.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding and mastery of all HR Service Desk tools.
- Remain updated on products, policy, procedure and other important operational issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Educational Requirements
- At least a Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate Undergraduate, or Bachelor's / College Degree in Human Resource
HR Principles and Practices:
- Understanding HR policies, employee lifecycle processes, and compliance.
- IT Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
- HR and IT Systems: Experience with HRIS (e.g., Workday, ADP) and IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is a plus but not required.
- Customer Service Principles: Best practices for ensuring user satisfaction.
Knowledge and Skills
- Technical Skills: Troubleshoot basic IT issues, manage HR and IT systems, create and maintain documentation.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, effective interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking, ability to handle complex issues with patience.
- Organizational Skills: Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to exceptional support and user empathy.
- Team Collaboration: Effective teamwork, willingness to collaborate across departments.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to handle changing priorities and unexpected issues.
- Time Management: Balance responsibilities and meet deadlines, work independently and take initiative.
