Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attracting and Sourcing Candidates:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the requirements and qualifications needed for open positions.
- Craft compelling job descriptions that accurately reflect the role and attract qualified applicants
Advertise job openings on various platforms like job boards, social media, and professional networking sites- Build relationships with potential candidates through networking events and social media outreach
- Screening and Shortlisting:
Review and assess resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the job criteria- Conduct phone screenings or pre-interview assessments to shortlist the most promising candidates
Coordinate logistics for interviews, including scheduling and candidate communication
- Interviewing and Selection:
Participate in interviews alongside hiring managers to evaluate candidates skills and experience
- Assess a candidate's fit for the company culture and work style
Provide feedback to hiring managers on interview results
- Keeping Track and Reporting:
Maintain a database of qualified candidates for future openings- Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire and source of hire
Generate reports on hiring plans and strategies
- May stay updated on recruitment software and recommend improvements to the hiring process
