Key Responsibilities of PAYROLL & BENEFITS ASSISTANT. Preparation and processing of payroll for employees on a semi-monthly or monthly basis for the non-Calax- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions, including mandatory government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant Philippine labor laws.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and statements.- Support the year-end payroll processes, including BIR Form 2316 distribution and tax filings.
Benefits Administration:- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance (HMO), Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other related benefits.
Coordinate benefits enrollment and termination processes.- Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefits records.
- Liaise with benefits providers and vendors to ensure smooth operation of benefits programs.
Assist in the annual benefits renewal process and open enrollment period.Compliance:
Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations related to payroll and benefits.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of required regulatory reports, such as BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
Stay updated on changes in payroll and benefits legislation.General HR Support:
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures relative to benefits and payroll
