Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Officer to join our dynamic team in the food industry. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's human resources functions with a strong focus on organizational development (OD) and employee relations, particularly in the area of employee discipline.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing and implementing effective OD strategies and initiatives to enhance employee performance, engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness. You will collaborate with department heads and senior management to identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and facilitate change management processes. Your expertise in OD will be instrumental in assessing and addressing organizational needs, such as talent development, succession planning, and performance management.

In addition, you will be responsible for managing employee relations, with a specific emphasis on employee discipline. You will provide guidance and support to managers and employees on disciplinary procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Your strong background in employee relations will enable you to handle sensitive issues, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary.

As an HR Officer, you will also be involved in various HR functions, including recruitment and selection, onboarding, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and HR policy development. You will serve as a trusted advisor to employees, providing guidance and assistance on HR-related matters, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, along with a proven track record of at least 5 years in HR, with a focus on OD and employee relations. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
