A human resources (HR) manager oversees policies, procedures and compliance relating to employees for their organization. ensure all human resources activities are in compliance with Philippines labor laws, as well as implement and oversee programs related to employee benefits and initiatives. Insurance programs, flexible work arrangement programs, maternity leave, open enrollment programs, and vacation and sick leave benefits are overseen by the human resources manager as well. Make recommendations on potential policy changes to ensure their company offers a competitive package of salary and benefits to employees; also help implement any approved changes. They also ensure that their workplace is accommodating and free of harassment, handling any complaints in accordance with company policy and any relevant laws. Additionally, oversee the work of a team of human resources personnel, offering guidance, training and discipline as needed.
The minimum educational requirement for this position generally includes a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Previous experience in human resources is typically needed as well. Human resources managers should also have excellent leadership, multitasking and problem-solving skills. These professionals usually
work in an office environment during regular business hours, although some travel to field sites and other company locations may be required.
Responsible in recruitment: developing and updating job description, sourcing through several portals / utilizing various strategies (e.g. advertisement, referrals, school posting, job fairs, etc)
- Screening and hiring through interviews and test administration.
Issuing and checking of pre-employment requirements and administering new employee orientation.- Orientation of newly hired employee
Preparation of newly hired contract
- Deployment of Newly Hired
Organize and Update Masterlist- Enroll newly hired in the biometric machine.
Updating manpower count.
- TIMEKEEPING & COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
administering payroll every 6th and 21st of a month and maintaining employee records;
- Review employee's payroll data.
Manages government mandated benefits such as SSS, PHILHEALTH, & PAGIBIG and ensure new and existing are updated.- Enroll newly hired in BIR, PHILHEALTH, & PAGIBIG
Maintain employee records (attendance, LEAVE FORM data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Collects Biometric data at project Sites
EMPLOYEE RELATION:- Monitor and executes employee regularization, promotion, transfer.
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems- Provide counselling on policies and procedures
developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
- interpreting and advising on employment law;
dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements;
- Processing of terminations.
Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues- Attending to government offices as a company representative
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
- Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organization and the individual
ensuring employees receive statutory required training
- Promoting an open knowledge-sharing environment that builds knowledge, skills and service for the benefit of the organization as a whole.
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance- Administer Performance Evaluation for Regular, Probationary and Project Based Employee.
Plan and administer programs to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge to compete effectively and meet the organization's business objectives
Issues individual and company-wide memoranda.
- UPDATE of Employee 201 FILE AND
Ensures Business registration is updated.- Drafts and implements administrative memos
Directs and manages office staff and messenger in ensuring office cleanliness.
- Process and ensure IM PEA BUILDERS company registration in DOLE and PCAB.
Managing HR policies and Employee life Cycle Management.- Create and Update Company handbook.
Create and Update IM PEA BUILDERS employee Job Description.
- Responsible of updating Table of Organization Chart
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
